About us

OUR PURPOSE is to

  • Promote sailing windsurfing and wingfoiling for people of all ages and skill levels.
  • Provide training and support to help members develop their skills and confidence on the water.
  • Foster a community through regular racing, social events, and inclusive programs like "Oxford Women on Water."
  • Offer access to equipment and facilities, including boats, boards, and a well-equipped clubhouse

Our love for sailing, windsurfing, wingfoiling — and just about anything that keeps us afloat—has been going strong since we first set sail in 1966.

Welcome to Our Club Powered by Passionate Volunteers!

We're a friendly and helpful Club, run entirely by dedicated volunteers who have built a thriving hub centred around our clubhouse and café. Our infrastructure supports a vibrant community of water sports enthusiasts and includes:

  • A comprehensive fleet of Club boats & boards  available free of charge to qualified members.
  • Changing facilities  clean, convenient, and accessible.
  • Boat park, wing and windsurf storage, keep your gear handy!
  • Clubhouse and café, a cosy spot to relax, refuel, and connect with fellow members.

Whether you're a seasoned sailor or just dipping your toes into water sports, our Club is here to support your journey. Come join us and be part of a community that values fun, friendship, and the freedom of the water!

Youth Sailing & Windsurfing at Our Club

Our youth sailing and windsurfing programmes are true family affairs, often involving multiple generations of members. Many of our young sailors have gone on to compete at the highest levels, including the Olympics.

As a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) recognised training centre, we offer a wide range of weekly dinghy, wing and windsurfing coaching sessions throughout the year.

In addition, we provide powerboat, first-aid and VHF radio courses for members interested in getting a little more involved and supporting club racing and evening sessions, helping to keep our activities safe, fun, and well-organised.
