Coaching and Training
Coaching
Informal coaching
OSC members provide informal coaching and instruction to other members on a voluntary basis. This might be arranged on a one to one basis or provided during the scheduled novice and casual sailing and racing events. This coaching is informal and would not lead to a certificate but may be all you need to get on the water or to help develop your skills.
Evening coaching events
Coaching and practice sessions are key to skills development and the Club has a number of regular evening coaching events with qualified instructors on hand to hone those sailing and windsurfing skills. Sessions must be pre booked and pre paid as numbers are controlled in order to ensure a practical member to instructor ratio.
Evening events include, Pay & Play dinghy coaching, Farmoor Flyers windsurfing, and for the younger sailors, Oxford Pirates dinghy coaching and the Oxford Zoomers windsurfers.
Please contact us via the contact page of this website or email our Traning Principal to volunteer your services or to discuss your needs.
Training
