Club Boats & Windsurf Kit

Don't own your own boat or windsurf kit - that's not a problem, club members with the appropriate skills and subject to certain club rules have access to our fleet of dinghies and windsurf equipment.

The 20mph average wind speed limit and the 2 boat rule apply to users of club equipment

The club fleet is described below, rigging guides are at the bottom of the page. Click here to see the boat park location map and storage details (members only, login required)

RS Tera

A modern, single handed dinghy to introduce your kids to sailing.

Commonly known as an 'Oppie', this is a small, single-handed dinghy intended for use by children,.

An iconic pedigree single hander for junior, youth and lighter adults.

RS Zest

Class leading space for two sailors, yet small enough for convenient single-handing.

Similar to the Laser Pico but preferred by most adults new to sailing.

! Two Gennakers are available for use in OSC sailing events, please ask in the office for access.

Laser One

Usually just called a laser, these are designed for one adult or youth sailor. Lasers are more responsive and more delicate than the other dinghies in our fleet. Members need instruction before using these boats which are available with 4.2, Radial and Standard rigs.

RS Feva

A popular asymmetric dinghy for two youth sailors, an adult and child or a single hander for adults.

! Three Gennakers are available for use in OSC sailing events, please ask in the office for access.

Topper Argo

(missing upload 1369375)

The latest upgrade to our fleet, a larger dinghy for two adults or small family.

A double handed asymmetric racing boat, with a single trapeze; exhilarating when the wind blows so suitable for sailors with intermediate or advanced skill levels.

Windsurf kit

Choose from a selection of youth or adult boards to suit beginner and intermediate windsurfers. Harnesses and a variety of rigs are available for different wind conditions.
