OUYC Top Gun Team Racing Event 2026 Provisional

TOP GUN; TEAM RACING EVENT 2026

This two day event brings to Oxford Sailing Club; the best of the best, university sailing teams in the UK, who will battle it out over the weekend to decide who really is the top-dog racing team for 2026.

For the disciples of team racing, this mesmerising event has a race course length set with engineering precision, giving teams time to sail the course, swap crews on the pontoon and arrive back at the start line with four minutes to go for the next race. An almost hypnotic hysteresis of never ending racing with multiple races and multiple teams clashing like Titans upon the water. 

Could the winning team go one better and win the classic Wilson Trophy back from the Americans at the British Team Racing Nationals?
