Family and Social Supervised Sailing

This Sunday is a Club family and fun casual sailing session and a support powerboat will be on the water. 

As always you are welcome to sail with family and friends as your guest, but please talk to us first if they have any medical conditions, are not competent swimmers or have little experience of watersports (the water is still quite cold).

Join us from 2 till 4pm on Sunday 13th July after club racing.

Session requirements: 
A member can sign in up to three guests
Any non sailing guests may only sail as a crew with an experienced member as helm in a suitable boat. 
The member helm must be familiar with rigging and use of the boat to ensure the guest has a safe and rewarding experience
Competent or qualified sailing guests may use Club kit, the member will be responsible for their safety and any damage to the Club kit.
Any guests using their own boat or board must have adequate insurance.
All guests will be bound by our ByeLaws and Ts & Cs, such as the need for buoyancy aids and wetsuits.

Briefing:
A shore based briefing will take place prior to the event commencing to outline the designated sailing area and covering health and safety and sailing risks for the guests.

Safety boat cover will be provided for the duration of the session.
