Farmoor Flyers: Monday night coached sessions for Wind&Wing GO#11 2

Please select this ticket if you’d like a delicious vegetarian main course with sides, prepared by Rachel, Jade and the crew, and shared with your Monday evening Flyer family.

Cost is £10. Please pay in the café on arrival.

Our regular Freesail sessions for windsurf/windfoil/wingfoil, members only, on Monday evenings.
Freesail Monday, get on board for fun at Farmoor, for all levels of windsurf/windfoil/wingfoil sailor.

NOTE: Coached sessions have priority for club kit. If you want to use Club kit to freesail on a Monday, please check with Seb on WhatsApp or windsurfsec@oxfordsailingclub.com before setting out.

The increasing number of members choosing to freesail on Monday evenings has been recognised within the new format. Freesailors[ windsurf/windfoil/wingfoil ] appreciate sailing amongst their friends and rescue cover being on hand.
Freesailors also enjoy a well earned beer and Rachel’s freshly cooked meals post sailing whilst watching the sunset over the pond.

Don’t forget to book food with Rachel or Louise when you arrive.

Raceboard Coaching

Our Raceboard Coaching 2025 programme is open to all members to initially try a Raceboard and then develop their skills to the point where the Raceboard lifestyle of racing, cruising and all wind freesailing opens up to them.
Run every Wednesday evening throughout the summer, sessions will be held irrespective of the weather, with shoreside workshops held when appropriate, covering topics such as board, sail and rig design, tuning for the conditions, racing, coastal/river cruising, tides, weather and safety.
Run by RYA Instructors, Russ and Kerry and with a coach/rescue boat in attendance, sessions commence at 6.00pm whilst the galley and bar will be open for a sociable and inexpensive meal and beer once off the water.
A limited number of Club Raceboards are available so be sure to book early!

Raceboard Coaching Booking Information

Please arrive and be rigged and ready to go on the water by 6.00pm if possible….

It’s useful for us to know numbers in advance so early booking is useful for us and there’s free cancellation up to the Saturday evening before the session. (If you can’t cancel via your online booking, please just send a WhatsApp to Seb on 07581 555 333).
Booking after the Saturday prior runs a higher risk of the session already being full and if available will be charged at a higher rate (£13.50 instead of £10.00). Bookings cancelled after the Saturday evening will not normally be refunded as a space has been firmly allocated (but please do still let us know, so we’re not waiting for you).

For those new to the OSC booking platform, the process is a bit clunky – please make sure you have fully checked out and got a booking success/confirmation message.
