Pirates - Firefly / Team Racing Coaching - June.

This Firefly / Team Racing Coaching is for youth members who are competent at sailing a double-handed dinghy around a course as either helm or crew and are keen for further coaching in sailing and racing Fireflies.

The Firefly is a simple double-handed dinghy that is popular for youth sailing and team racing. The target age range is 13 - 18 years, but we will accept younger Pirates that are suitable.  If you're not sure if it's for you, please ask.

Activities include Firefly sailing skills and team racing practice.  

Thanks to Oxford University Yacht Club for providing the boats and coaches for these sessions.

Dates and times (see tickets):

Wednesday 18th June: Registration is at 5:45 pm.  We will be finished by 8.15 pm.

Sunday 22nd June: Registration is at 10.00 am.  We will be finished by 1.00 pm.

Attendance at the session is subject to our Training terms.  

For children under 16, parents (or someone on their behalf) must stay on site, readily available to supervise their children at all times.  

All children must have medical and emergency contact information updated in their Profile and any changes to these notified to the lead coach on the day.

Cancellations and Refunds: 48 hours.

Bookings cancelled 48 hours prior to the session will be eligible for refunds.  Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the session will not normally be refunded. To cancel please notify us by email or on the Pirates WhatsApp group.
