Racing will be run based on the Racing Rules Of sailing and the Sailing Instructions posted in pdf form below.

• Entry is open to Fireflies, Fevas, and handicap boats with a PY less than 1100 (slower or the same speed as a laser 1)
• All competitors will be part of a school team, except for junior members of OSC who will ensure their boat has £3,000,000 insurance (you are insured if you use an OSC club boat) and have a guardian on site with them. (including 16-18 year olds).
• All sailors must wear buoyancy aids and full length wetsuits. (Or dry suits)
• Entries; Schools and OSC are to get their sailors to complete (as far as possible) an entry form now - please contact jpearson@mcsoxford.org. All boats MUST have a individual symbol/number on the sail.

There will be a competitor briefing at 9.30. The aim is to run as many races as possible: first start at 10, last start no later than 14.00.

If the Fireflies get more than 9 boats entering, they will run as a separate fleet race. Everyone else will be race in the Handicap fleet which will sail average lap races. (Length of time divided by number of laps a boat has completed) . The important thing is to keep racing till you are finished!
