OSC Wing surfing and wing foiling regulations

OXFORD SAILING CLUB WING SURFING AND WING FOILING REGULATIONS

Version 1.1 20 Jan 2023

1. These regulations apply to any member using a wing


1.1 Specialist Wing Foiling Liability Insurance with a minimum value of £2M is required by members using their own kit

12 Helmets to be worn at all times, ie. when either wing surfing or wingfoiling

1.3 Leashes to both rig and board are required

1.4 Impact/ buoyancy aid vests are required at all times

1.5 CIub vests to be worn

1.6 Wetsuits to be worn in accordance with club regulations

1.7 Wingfoilers to maintain a safe distance from other craft whilst complying with all normal rights of way

1.8 Inexperienced wingfoilers applying for Club membership are required to have successfully completed both an RYA Learn to Wingsurf and an Improve Your Wingsurfing course.
