Autumn Series {Club Racing}:  (8 of 11)

Open to all members; The Autumn Series, forms part of our regular Sunday club racing, where we have two races, sailed back to back, consisting of three starts to each race; {Asymmetric Handicap Fleet: for dinghies sailing a windward leeward course; ILCA  Fleet: includes a combined fleet of ILCA 7(standard rig), ILCA 6(radial rig), ILCA 4 (4.7 rig) ; General Handicap Fleet: For dinghies with a PY greater than 1050; the course will be displayed by the committee boat on the water, which acts as a start and finish line for the racing. The racing caters to all classes of boat with a recognised Portsmouth Handicap. 

New to racing, or want to have a go in organised fleet racing, come along and make yourself known to anyone on the beach. There you can get some guidance and help from our racing members to assist you onto the water. Club racing is a great way for sailors to improve their skills and enjoy competitive sailing in a friendly environment. Racing usually starts at 11:00 am, though the format and timing may vary depending on the event or series.
