About the course
Course
The RYA First Aid course is designed to cover the basic first aid requirements for water and related activities. The course stipulates a duration of 8 hours contact time.
The course involves some practical exercises and clothing should be appropriate to an indoor practical activity. If anyone has problems with laying on the floor (back, knees etc) please let us know in advance. You will be issued the RYA First Aid Manual as part of the course.
NOTE: Please bring a Buoyancy Aid as we will also look at doing CPR in one of the powerboats.
