Want to get off to a strong start for the new windsurfing season at Farmoor?
If yes, you'll want to book on to the first Workshop Wednesday of 2024, led by the legendary Russ Canning.
Russ will be sharing his thoughts on board and fin design, backed by forty years of windsurfing obsession.
Russ has led windsurfing development at the club since 1984. During that time, Russ and the club have been instrumental in the development of some super successful windsurfers including Olympians, Michael Green, Bryony Shaw who won windsurfing bronze at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and more recently Tom Squires, finalist in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics RS:X Windsurfing event, achieving a staggering 7th place.
Rachel and the Roo's kitchen crew are putting on Mexican supper of burritos & sides with chicken or bean options with rice, guacamole and salsa.
In the next Workshop Wednesday, we'll cover Rig Design, Selection and Tuning for the conditions, with particular reference to Farmoor, on Wednesday 3rd April.
Both Workshops will be held in the Clubroom from 6.00pm and will include dinner at 7.30pm. The bar will also be open throughout the evening.
