Scarlet Desorgher Appointed as Oxford SCs New Dinghy Chief Instructor

We're delighted to announce that Scarlet Desorgher has stepped into the role of Dinghy Chief Instructor. 

Scarlet brings an impressive depth of experience and qualifications to the position, something quickly recognised by our RYA Training Principal, Tom Cochrane, who encouraged her to take on this key leadership role within the training team.

Reflecting on her appointment, Scarlet said:

I'm delighted to be offered the role of Chief Instructor at OSC. The training team have been so welcoming over the past year, and I really feel that we can make a huge difference—particularly to Youth Sailing at the club. We've got some exciting things in the works, including a new Youth Race Series, and I'm looking forward to getting to know all the Dinghy Instructors at the club and pushing forward with excellentquality teaching.

Scarlets enthusiasm and vision for developing our youth pathway and strengthening our instructor community make this a very exciting step for the club. We look forward to seeing the positive impact she will bring in the months ahead.
