Oxford SC; SPEED WEEK CHALLENGE 2026. 17th October ~1st November

The countdown has started and with just one week to go, it’s time to trim your sails, sharpen your fins and foils and get ready for the annual OSC Speed Challenge.  The event starts next Saturday, October 17th and ends on Sunday November 1st, providing two full weeks for club members to demonstrate their skills and prowess on the water.  There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places but it’s not just about winning.  This is an opportunity to push the limits and pursue your own personal bests so, I’d like to encourage everyone to take part.  The forecast is looking good for next week so you might want to seize the opportunity to get some practise in up front of the official start date. Fingers crossed that the wind continues to play ball throughout the event duration. Hook in and hang on, I look forward to seeing the results roll in …
